Wendy Williams is super happy that Jennifer Lopez is getting to see her dream of performing at the Super Bowl Halftime show become a reality but the same cannot be said about Shakira! As you may know, both legendary performers are set to take the stage at the prestigious event but the talk show host thinks J.Lo. would have done a great job all by herself!
So, Wendy just shaded Shakira on her show!
The TV personality did not hesitate to make her thoughts known.
During Hot Topics earlier today, Wendy said: ‘No offense to Shakira, but I think Jen could’ve handled this on her own. Just saying, because how long’s the halftime show going to be? Jen has got a lot of hits, Shakira has got a lot of hits… I know more about Jen than I do about Shakira, although Shakira is an international superstar — I just wish that Jen’s performance was not interrupted with.’
She then paused a bit, making her studio audience audibly laugh.
‘I’m just saying! Jen can come out and then she can bring everybody — Pitbull, Marc Anthony, LL Cool J, Cardi B, Ja Rule. I mean, where are we going with this? I don’t know who Shakira collaborates with, [and] I don’t even care. But, I’ll be there [in Miami], just because it’s going to be a shake-off and that’s always interesting to watch. I bet you both girls are juicing now until the Super Bowl and their crunch game and lunge game is going to be sick.’
So it sounds like Wendy is going to be there no matter what!
