According to a report from E! Online, it’s been approximately 25 years since the death of Nicole Brown Simpson. But for Faye Resnick and Kris Jenner, who have been friends for a long time, they can still remember what Nicole was like.
In a preview clip shared from Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Jenner and Resnick stop by Toscana, a restaurant where they all used to hang out with Nicole. “The last time I was here was with you and Nicole,” Jenner stated, adding it was a challenge to be there.
As the world knows, Nicole Brown Simpson was allegedly murdered by OJ Simpson on the 12th of June, 1994, alongside her close friend, Ron Goldman. Since both Jenner and Resnick were friends with Nicole, they are emotionally affected by the anniversary of her passing.
Kris even remembers what Nicole had to eat on that night, which was white fish with spinach, a margarita, and roasted potatoes. Coincidentally, both Resnick and Jenner ordered from a 30th-anniversary menu at the restaurant, which was quite similar to the menu they would’ve used at the time they all had dinner together back in the 1990s.
The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star stated, “that just gave me chills.” Kris appeared as though she was nearly close to crying.
Kris stated she had become emotionally attached to the legal battle with OJ, which her husband was involved in, rather than the emotional side of what happened.
In other words, Kris explained in her confessional video that she never quite came to terms with the fact she lost her close friend. Resnick, on the other hand, states that she can’t shake Brown’s memory out of her head, and Jenner, admits she often feels triggered and upset whenever she hears about the killing in the media.
As it was mentioned in passing above, Kris Jenner’s husband at the time, Robert Kardashian, was one of the attornies defending OJ, who eventually got off on the charges. “You can’t explain this to anybody,” Jenner remarked, before going on to add that she often hides her anger with a sad facade.
