According to a report from Us Magazine, Eminem once rapped about taking Chris Brown’s side regarding the notorious 2009 fight that led to Brown’s arrest and Rihanna’s bruised face. In an unreleased song leaked on the internet on Sunday, the 47-year-old rapped that it was obvious he would side with Brown because he’d “beat a b*tch down too.”
Reportedly, the session was recorded for his 2009 album, Relapse. A different version of the same verse eventually made its way onto B.o.B’s 2011 track, “Things Get Worse.” In that song, Marshall Mathers raps about putting “Natasha Bedingfield in a washer” and killing Dakota Fanning.
Following the release of a snippet from the track, Twitter users began criticizing the rapper for the line, with one person insinuating that Eminem was too old to be rapping about such things, including for supposedly glorifying abuse.
Famously, Marshall Mathers released a song from 2000 called “Kim,” in which he told a story of what it would be like to kill his ex-wife, Kim Scott Mathers, and putting her dead body in the back of his vehicle. Ironically, Eminem has worked with Rihanna several times, including in the 2013 track, “The Monster,” in the 2012 song, “Numb,” as well as “Love The Way You Lie.”

Moreover, they toured as a pair back in August of 2014, performing six concerts in Detroit, New Jersey, as well as California. As it was previously reported, the 30-year-old rapper, Brown, assaulted Rihanna in his car the night before the Grammy Awards in February 2009, after Rihanna had purportedly struck him.
Mr. Brown subsequently pled guilty to the crime and had to undergo five years of probation as a result. Later on, they brought their romance together again in late 2012, before eventually splitting in mid-2013. In a 2012 interview, Rihanna talked about the infamous incident and stated they would always “love each other.”
As fans of the ex-couple know, Rihanna and Chris Brown have kept in touch over the years, and Brown has even been in the headlines regarding his IG comments on Rihanna’s page.

An insider who spoke with Us Magazine back in November 2018 stated both parties had each other’s backs when it came to their art, despite their troubled past.
