It sounds like the young actor is not too worried about fame and what it can do to someone. Timothée Chalamet is undeniably successful already, at the age of just 23 years old.
Add that to the fact that he got into the spotlight all of a sudden, and he should feel a lot of pressure but, as it turns out, that is not the case at all!
But maybe his rumored relationship with Johnny Depp’s daughter, Lily-Rose Depp is a reason for concern since it is one more reason for the paparazzi to follow him everywhere?
Apparently, that does not faze him much either!
This is what the star revealed while chatting with ET at the New York City premiere of The King – his new movie!
According to Chalamet, there are many other, much more stressful things one can experience in life.
‘I feel like, even when I was growing up, like, I don’t know, there are ways to meet it halfway. I would rather [have] these kinds of stresses or anxieties than what am I going to get on my PSAT, SAT or ACT or whatever. I guess I am not in high school anymore. What is the college equivalent? The bar or something like that, to be a lawyer,’ he dished.
The actor went on to talk about being hunted by photographers, saying that: ‘I don’t feel like it works that way as much. Those things exist, but – this is a bigger conversation. But with social media, everybody has a camera anywhere, so I wonder what the business model is, following somebody around with a DSLR, but who knows?’
