The young actress revealed that working with Timothee Chalamet on The King was really ‘nerve-wracking.’ Lily-Rose Depp said this during an interview for ET and also used this opportunity to gush over her co-star and rumored boyfriend.
Johnny Depp’s daughter described Chalamet as ‘so, so great’ at his job and also just ‘incredible.’
The two portray young royals in the movie which is slightly based on some Shakespearean plays such as Henry IV and Henry V.
During a press day, Lily-Rose told the news outlet that  ‘It’s always exciting to work with someone who you know has given themselves so wholeheartedly to their role and is so invested. It can be nerve-wracking working with people whose talent you already admire so much. It can be intimidating.’
She went on to mention that she, as well as some co-stars including Joel Edgerton were already big fans of Chalamet before getting to work with him on this project.
‘But I think that you can take it like that, or like, ‘How lucky am I to be working with this many people who are this great at what they do, and hopefully I can learn from them,’’ Depp went on to say.
The promising actress, who plays Catherine of Valois in the film, said about her role that ‘I loved the research process and delving into who Catherine is as a person. It can be intimidating to play a real life person, but I think it adds to the desire that I had to do her justice and do as best of a job as I could. Everyone who worked on this project, whether it was in front or behind the camera, was so impressive, and I was so excited to be a small part of it.’
You can watch the movie starting with October 11 in theaters everywhere as well as on Netflix starting with November 1!
