Fantasia’s life has been a fascinating story to follow, and it keeps getting better all the time. And it looks like the singer has a lot to share with the world, especially with regards to her marriage to Kendall Taylor.
Back when she married Taylor, some suspected that the man was trying to take advantage of her, given the difference in their status and the fact that they got married so shortly after their relationship started.
The fact that their marriage included a prenup clause made many fans raise their eyebrows, as this seemingly confirmed their suspicions.
However, in a recent interview, Fantasia has shattered those claims, revealing that it was Kendall himself who requested the prenup.
The man wanted to make it clear to the world that he was not going after Fantasia’s riches but after her.
Fantasia sat down with Angela on “The Breakfast Club,” where they had this exchange:
Fantasia: “He wanted the prenup, and I think that was a dope move. Because he wanted people to know. I don’t want you for… [your money.]”
Angela: “If he didn’t say that, would you have gotten married without it?”
Fantasia: “I probably would have…but I’m glad he…”
Angela: “Tasia, come on, girl, we got to handle our business.”
Fantasia: “Listen, I know, I know! But the fact that he brought it up. That’s my homie.”
And so far, the marriage seems to be working out quite well, with both enjoying their life together to a great extent.
Fantasia has been very busy with her own life and career, but this has not stopped her from paying enough attention to her husband, and it looks like they are a perfect match for each other.
Hopefully, nothing will come up in the relationship that might require them to invoke the prenup in the first place.
However, it does not seem like things are headed in that direction at all, looking at the current situation. Entirely, on the contrary, the two are doing quite well.
One person had this reaction to the news: “Your interview on the Breakfast Club and this video right here STILL ring TRUE!! People and their warped perception of everything. We need to get back to teaching truth and not what society has prevented to make these folks feel better about how they move.
Fantasia seems wiser and happier.
