Since she just had a reunion with her Zombieland co-stars, Emma Stone thinks she knows exactly what she needs to do in case of a real-life zombie outbreak! While at the premiere for her brand new horror-comedy, Zombieland: Double Tap, the actress shared her survival plan with ET!
Proving she’s given this some thought, Emma did not hesitate to declare: ‘[I’m running] to a boat to go to an island. I feel like it wouldn’t have spread to an island and I feel like zombies aren’t great swimmers. I was like, ‘Why haven’t we done that in the movie?’’
But as you may know, the Zombieland sequel is not the only project she has been involved in!
In fact, Stone has landed the iconic villain role of Cruella de Vil in a live-action prequel centered around the character!
About playing the younger version of Cruella, Stone gushed that ‘It’s pretty trippy. It’s wild.’
In fact, she mentioned that she has moments even on set when she thinks that ‘This is bananas!’
When it comes to her inspiration for the role, the famous actress revealed that she’s been looking at Glenn Close, who played the character in the 1996 ‘101 Dalmatians’ live-action adaptation.
But she has also been drawing inspiration from the 1961 animated classic!
About Close, Stone raved that ‘I think she’s obviously the GOAT,’ before adding that she has been in love with the animated version for a long time as well!
When it comes to her upcoming movie, she mentioned that the plot is set ‘before [Close’s] story. It leads to her to where she becomes true greatness.’
Disney’s Cruella is set to be released in theaters in May of 2021 so fans still have a lot of waiting to do!
In the meantime, however, they can watch Stone in Zombieland: Double Tap, coming up October 18!
