Rumor has it that, while Cody Simpson and Miley Cyrus are only having fun and being casual, he wishes they were in an official, serious relationship! In other words, the Australian singer wants that ‘boyfriend’ title at some point!
After all, her family is super supportive of the two of them dating so that also gives him more confidence that they can make it work.
At this time, Cody and Miley’s romance is totally budding but who knows what’s going to happen later on!
Despite their future together being so uncertain, however, Cody cannot help but hope they will get more serious.

They told the news outlet that ‘Cody and Miley are taking things slow but he would like to be Miley’s boyfriend down the line, so he wants to impress her. He finds joy in doing that and he will gladly help her out in any way while she’s sick.’
Sure enough, while she was in the hospital because of tonsillitis, Cody used his guitar playing talent to comfort her!
That, of course, was not the only thing he did for her while she was dealing with the sickness.
The insider went on to claim that ‘They are in constant contact and he is scoring points with her, sending her funny texts and messages that is helping her feel better. Cody has totally been there for Miley since she got sick. When she was at home, he came over and brought her a huge care package. He is very thoughtful, he brought her soup and fresh green juice and a bunch of natural stuff for colds like Echinacea.’
Of course, it turned out that she had a pretty bad case of tonsillitis so the natural remedies did not do much for her.
But that is not to say he did not still impress Miley and her family with how much he took care of her.
