Bella Hadid Covers Vogue Netherlands On Her Birthday — Model Turns 23-Years-Old Today

Bella Hadid celebrates her 23rd birthday on October 9, 2019, and the supermodel is commemorating her special day in a fitting way — by covering Vogue Netherlands. Bella landed the November cover that sees the half-Dutch, half-Palestinian visit her mother’s land and even ride a Dutch bike.  Bella was in Amsterdam for the shoot and rode a Dutch Bike in front of the Rijksmuseum that provided the perfect setting for the photoshoot. Vogue Netherlands included the special feature “Bella Hadid in the Rijksmuseum” where the beauty was photographed in the exquisite surroundings of Dutch art dating back to the middle ages including multiple Rembrandts.

Vogue Netherlands shared a video of Bella where she rode the Dutch bike outside the museum with some scenes from inside the museum as well for their Dutch Design issue. The magazine shared the following caption.

“When asked on the set of our new #DutchDesign issue if she could ride a bike, supermodel @BellaHadid replied without hesitation: ‘Are you kidding me, I’m half Dutch!’  Take a look behind the scenes of our shoot with #BellaHadid where she rides an old Dutch bike through the tunnel of the @Rijksmuseum, eats poffertjes in front of the #Nachtwacht and poses in front of iconic Dutch paintings in mesmerizing couture looks via the link in bio. The Rijksmuseum holds the most extensive collection of Rembrandts worldwide, making it the perfect atmosphere for Bella’s photo shoot. For the cover, Bella stood in front of a Rembrandt portrait of Johannes Wtenbogaert that was painted in 1633. Sean Thomas shot Bella Hadid for the issue and the photos are being shared across social media platforms.
